  • Identifying event needs, reviewing planning details and making recommendations
  • Negotiating contracts and coordinating with vendors (e.g., food/beverage, audio visual, entertainment production and travel/lodging)
  • Writing and distributing requests for proposals to vendors (e.g., food/beverage, audio visual, entertainment production, travel/lodging and graphic design/printers)
  • Drafting scripts and coordinating speaker participation
  • Coordinating with graphic designers and printers to create and produce print collateral
  • Managing customer relations

Marketing and Public Relations

  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns, including:
    • brand awareness
    • product and promotional development
    • sponsorships
    • partnership development
    • writing media advisories and press releases
    • disseminating event information to the media and public
